IC analysis means Immediate constituent analysis or IC analysis. It's a way to dismntly a grammatical construction.
Constituent is a term used in structural sentence analysis for every linguistic unit, which is a part of a larger linguistic unit. Several consituents together form a construction. For example, in the sentence The boy ate the apple. S(A), the boy(B), ate the apple(C), each part is a constituent.

This tree contains three Nodes. The top-most node, A, is the mother of the two lower nodes, B and C. B and C are Daughters of the same mother, they are Sister nodes.
B can be futher dismantled into the(E) and boy(F), then, E and F are B's immediate consitituents. E is a Det=determiner, while F is a N=noun.
There are other syntactic categories to lable the nodes, they are A=adjective, V=verb, P=preposition, Adv=adverb, Conj=conjunction.
