I want to tell you about a special class we will have on Friday.
We will have a visit from a team of 6 people who do community organizing in
a Migrant Workers Service Project in Nanhai. Four of them are Social Work
graduate students from the South Campus, and two of them are migrant
worker-organizers.
They will describe the real life experience of using social work skills,
methods and theory to help solve the serious social problems of migrant
workers. Their presentation will include a PPT, lecture and also a very
engaging role play activity.
I know that you will find this an unusual and interesting presentation.
