by the end 后面加of "在．．．结束之前”，用于完成时，可根据of后面的
时间短语来确定用现在完成时，过去完成时 或将来完成时 ．如：
I have learnt 2000 English words by the end of this term.
I had learnt 1000 English words by the end of last term.
I will have learnt 3000 English words by the end of next term.
in the end 后面不加of，in the end =at last =finally最后，终于
end作名词时,可与in/at/by等介词连用.区别是:in the end=at last/finally;atthe end必须后接of,表示"在……末尾/末端";by the end也必须后接of,表示"在……末尾为止",句中动词常用完成时态.例如:
He tried several times to pass the exam andin the end he succeed.
At the end of this month,we'll have atest.这个月末,我们将有一次测验.
He had finished all the work by the end oflast month.
by the end后面可以在加上of sth. ，表示“在……结束之前”，用于过去完成时~！（记住：不可以用于其他时态哦~！）
in the end后面不可以加上of sth.（at the end后面可以加of sth.)，表示“在……结束的时候”或“在……的末尾”，时态上没有限制。
