Maybe most of us agree that practice is the most important.But in my opinion ,without interest,how can one practise everyday,just force himself or herself ?I'm afraid most can not do it.
However,sometimes you can actually find your interest in English when you learn it,really.Especially,when you find you can comprehend something that you can't do it before or you can get the main idea when seeing movies without cues.
Speak as much as you may and listen as much as you can. It's all practise, there is no shortcut to learn a foreign language. Practise, practise, practise. Everyone learn English like this.
