spend pay cost take的用法是什么?

or in doing sth

spend， take， pay, 和 cost 都有“花费”之意，但句型用法不同。
spend 的用法是 sb. spends ...(in) doing sth/ on sth.
cost 的句型是sth. cost sb. some money./ It costs sb some money to buy sth.
pay 的用法为 sb pays some money for sth.
take 则是It take sb. some time to do sth. (也可用It take some time for sb. to do sth).
Spend 与 take主要区别是用spend, 就要用人来作主语，后面跟doing;而用take时，却需要用it作主语，后面用不定式。这两个句型常可替换。
例如：I spent a day cleaning that place up.
