可以的。很多人考研究生都跨专业的，只要努力就行了。而且到你考研究生的时候可以参加辅导班，辅导班把范围缩小了就比较轻松了。只要付出努力还是很大把握的。

Possible but very difficult. We change our major, usually within the same family of similar majors. For example, you study economics, so it is easier for you to switch to sociology, politics, communication, international relationship, business or other social science based discipline.

Also, if your major is physics, you can switch to math, engineering and something similar. If you major in business, you can change to accounting, finance, organization behaviour and management.

What do you mean by foreign language?

Let me assume either English or one of the modern languages, i.e. French, Deutsch, etc. To enter into a graduate school in language, you need excellent language skills, foundation of literature and others like syntax, phonetics, language logic.
