去掉on改为Bring me a chair to sit. 可以吗？为什么？
还有一句话的with也有同样的问题：
I need a spoon to eat this ice cream with.
去掉on改为Bring me a chair to sit. 可以吗？为什么？

sit on 可以说的固定搭配，表所在物，也就是说on 后接的是chair.
同样，with 是代替 to use.
on the chair
sit 是不及物动词，后面要跟介词
第二句话不用在末尾加with吧，好像多此一举。如果用的话。也应该是：I need (with) a spoon to eat this ice cream.
第一句话的ON是和SIT搭配使用的,不可以去掉.
第二句的WITH去掉对句意没有改变.
