虽然as if 引导的方式状语从句或者表语从句有时是用虚拟语气的, 但是在it做形式主语的句子中如it seems,it looks , 和这个 it was told的情况下呢从句常用一般陈述语气而不是虚拟语气,但是在从句所谈的情况永远不可能发生的情况下才用虚拟语气例如:
The sun rises in the ease and sets in the west,so it seems as if the sun were circling round the earth.这种情况是永远不可能发生的,所以这个才是虚拟语气,其它的情况就都不是.
