I have answered a similar question and earned some baidu points. Refer to the following link for details. Based on your brief description, I will assume you have no chance to reach 67 points. Refer to this website for details:

Put in this way, even though you have a degree in English, everyone in Canada speaks English. Your qualification is not a professional one, but the bright side is you can further your education and training here. Lots of English majors will study either social work or law at graduate school, and the job market in these 2 fields is as long as you have a pulse, you have a job.

A lot of immigrants from China do not have a permanent job because of inadequate English competence. Entry level salary is about 30,000 per year. Mid professionals make 50,000 and senior 80,000. Some make more and some less.

The key is your English.

I have been living in Canada for 20 years. My 2 universities degrees are from China. After coming here for 2 months in 1989, I got a professional job making 33,000. Now, I am making 94,000. This is not a huge success, but enough, plus the stable Canadian society, for me to live a comfortable mid class lifestyle. I have no complaint.
