虽然国内有几家网站上把个体户译成：self-employed entrepreneurs。但我觉得这有欠妥当。entrepreneurs是指：person who assumes the organization, management, and risks of a business enterprise.
众所周知，这是指企业家。个体户的意思与此差之甚远。
所以我认为应该译成：
self-employed households /people
网站上用这个译法的较多。更合中国国情。
self-employer是地道表达.
