客房管理系统The administrative system of the guest room近几年随着计算机硬件和软件的不断发展，操作系统由DOS升级到Windows，数据库文件共享型的DBF数据库向Oracle等数据共享型大型数据库转变，但由于DBF数据库的灵活性和方便性，很多数据库管理系统在本地表的存储上还在一定程度上使用DBF数据库，比如代码库等。因此，如何提高DBF数据库使用效率，增强开发系统的可移植性，显得很重要。我们通过反复实践发现，用SQL命令管理dB ASE数据库，是提高DBF数据库的使用效率的一个很好的方法。 数据库前段开发工具的选择也有很多种，常见的有VB, VC, PB, VFP,Delphi等。众多的数据库开发工具一方面给软件编程提供了较大的选择余地，另一方面也给学习和使用带来了不少困难，因此正确选择显得非常重要。上面列出的几个软件在系统开发和数据库开发上各有自己的特点，这些新软件不仅能处理好大型网络数据库还要能兼容好dBAS E数据库。从兼容dBASE数据库来看VFP最好，但是系统开发和与其它网络数据库兼容较差，综合考虑对于广大的非计算机专业的技术人员来讲，VB是比较好的选择。
客房管理系统是是典型的信息管理系统(MIS), 其开发主要包括后台数据库。我设计的客房管理系统主要有四个模块：1.客房信息模块,它主要包括房态图的查看、客房硬件信息及标准设定。2.查询模块，它主要是对客房信息及客户信息的查询。3.登记模块，这模块包括预定登记及客户入住登记。4.结帐模块

Guest room administrative system regards Visual Basic 6.0 as the developing instrument of front desk, and use SQL Server2000 as backstage supporters data base , adopt C/S mode. In an era of " the computer is a network ", any kind of data base technology cant ignore the application in the network , and Visual Basic 6.0 is proper in this, that behaves is still outstanding . Utilize the controlling part of ADO to join SQL Server2000 data base directly, can add the new data, delete the data at present, looking for a record, the previous record, the next record and the end record .
