我是学英语的，下学期大3了，要选修第二外语，请问大家选什么语种好呢？还有就是我准备考研，考研究会不会跟这个有冲突呢，谢谢大家啦！

In my personal opinion, there is no better choice than French.Pragmatically, it is a language that shares so many similarities with English as to spare you the burden of memorizing vocubary and its grammar is also relatively easy for English major.
Scholastically,it is a language of art and literature.After learning French a couple of months ,you will find that language is logical as well as rhythmical .Due to those merits,it is widely applied in diplomatic and juristical arenas.

考研的时候也需要考第二外语阿，日语和法语是首选，
并不冲突阿！
看看你们学校哪个语种的师资力量好
French would be better.
我刚开始学日语，日语学起来较为简单，考级资料也比较多，如果从就业的角度考虑还是不错的，当然学外语最好挑有兴趣的，合理安排时间的话，学二外和考研并不冲突，但学二外是越早开始越好。
