kaito kid gosho aoyama's main charater for his first anime that he ever draw called "magic kaito" but that anime has no tv shows, ep, etc. and only has 3 manga volumes that gosho made out of magic kaito unless you include the shouen sunday manga! <.< he sometimes appears in Detective Conan steal jewels and teasures in the story! (his first appearance is in vol. 16) he's the conan/shinichi's rival and the ONLY criminal that conan/shinichi cannot catch. he sometimes like to escape in his hangglider (usually) and also the same criminal that Inspector nakamori (also one of the charaters of magic kaito and only appears in detective conan when kaito kid is steal something in the series) is determine to catch and only fouces on him.

In MK(magic kaido)volume 3, it was mentioned that Kid's IQ was 400. Aoyama might have exaggerated here; but there's no doubt that, then, Kaito should be highly intelligent.

However, Kaito is just passed off as an average and slightly hyperactive kid in class, and he seemed to be prodigy in no field.

I wonder why. Well, even Hajime Kindaichi (The Kindaichi's Case Files) got some recognization from the police.
