先说我不太懂语法阿 但是还比较明白把~
以楼上的例子
enter you area code (and if you are required to) to dial a number to get an outside line

括号内是补充的内容 怎么说呢是补充还是限制还是注释不知道啊
用中国话就像说

输入你的地区号码，（如果是被要求输入的）去拨一个数字来得到外线

所以说 第一个to 不是那种to do sth的to ,他是跟着前面require的，required to 是被动，第二个to 不是被动

因为是把第一个to后的成份提到句子的别处了，所以造成了二个to在一起的假象，这些题目一定是高考题目里的，其实只要注意些就应该没什么问题了

有的动词后必须加"to", 而被动语态里, 这种动词后的成份被省略掉了, 第二个"to"是"in order to"的意思. 于是就出现了"... to to ..."的有趣结构.

如: Enter your area code and you are required to to dial a number to get an outside line.
= Enter your area code and you are required to ENTER YOUR AREA CODE IN ORDER to dial a number to get an outside line.
要拨打外线号码, 先输入您的地区号(而且您必须要输入地区号).

We only need to login on Monday when all computers will be required to to re-validate.
= We only need to login on Monday when all computers will be required to BE LOGGEDIN IN ORDER to re-validate THE IDENTITIES OF OURSELVES.
我们只需在星期一登录以重新确认(我们的身份)就可以了(星期一所有的计算机都需要登录).
