摘 要：目前最大的环境问题是由人类排放CO2等温室气体引起的地球加热变暖，两极冰盖融化，海平面上升，沿海城市被淹，岛国沉入海下,洪涝、干旱、沙漠化加剧。第四纪科学研究证明过去气候变化具有不同驱动因素所导致的不同层次的周期性变化。据此可以预测未来气候变化的趋势，加上对温室效应的评估，提醒人们采取适当的措施。

QUATERNARY SCIENCE AND THE ENVIRONMENT

Abstract：Recently,the most pimportant problem of environment is the change to warmth of the global climate,caused by green house effect,resulting the discharge of CO2 and other green house factor from humen being to the atmosphere. Quaternary research shows that,the past climate change has different periodityies in different levels and izcaused by different driving factors.so that,we can forecast the tendency of the future cliamte,and take an important measure to hinder the bad inflnence.
