"Hot" -> Positive adjective noting the object's attractiveness

"Show off"-> Negative adjective noting the person's efforts in making him/herself look above everyone else, usually with the most expensive cloth or accessary.

"Flashy"-> Neutral adjective noting the object's reflective or shimmering appearance, now expanded to mean anything anything that seems high-tech or expensive. This word plays off the description of shiny metallic appearance of new machines and thus work best as a visual discription only.

"Dazzle"-> Positive verb meaning the object is so brilliant that it awes the person who's looking. (kind of like "yan hua liao luan.")
