测试环境介绍和软件参数介绍

　　我们在市场上收集了SONY、TDK、Maxell、富士施乐、三菱、劲宝这五大品牌的DVD刻录产品。首先使用MSIDVD刻录机DR8-A2向每张盘片刻入相同的数据，然后用专业的刻录机及刻录盘测试软件LiteonKprobe1.12对这些盘片进行全面的测试。测试所使用的DVD光驱为Liteon HD-166S。

　　LiteonKprobe是一款Liteon公司开发的专业测试刻录质量的软件，它利用PI（Parityinner）/PO（ParityOuter）进行数据检测，在这次测试中，我们就以PI/PO两个值为标准，对盘片质量进行判定。

　　何为PI值？PI值就是A row of an ECC Block that has at least 1 byteinerror constitutes a PIerror,什么是1个row(列),就是182bytes数据,而1个ECCBlock是由208个row组成,而在这208个row中,只要有任何一个row中的data,至少出现1byte的错误,那就称为1个PI值(因此可以知道,一个ECCBlock是由208个row组成,故一个ECCBlock最大PI值是208),而KProbe是以8个ECCBlock为单位(1个ECC Block PI值最多208,8个ECCBlock最多就是1664个PI值),8个ECCBlock总共的PI值不能超过280。

　　何为PO值？“If a row of an ECC Block contains more than 5erroneousbytes,the row is said tobe“PI-uncorrectable,由于DVD-ROM有错误纠正的能力,因此刚刚上述所说的data错误(也就是PI值),若是经由光驱读取修正后,1个row里面错误的data仍然超过5byte的话,那就产生一个PO值,这里先解释一下,由于1个row是由182byte组成,若是这182byte中发生10byte错误,依照PI值的定义,这就是1个PI值(也就是说1个row中的data出现错误,不管是几byte,通通只能算1个PI值),此时经由光驱读取纠正,若是修正到只剩4byte有错,那很好,就不算1个PO值,若是还剩超过5byte以上不能修正,就要算上1个PO值,规定中1个ECCBlock不能超过4个PO值,8个ECCBlock就总共不能超过32。

　　说到这里,简单点说就是PI值越高,代表有错误的row越多,也就是有越多的错误数据,而PO值越高,就代表有越多的row(182byte)中的错误,无法被修正到小于5byte的错误，当然这也牵制于DVD光驱的纠错能力。

　　其实我们只要知道，盘片测试结果中的PI/PO值越低越好。但需要注意的是，Kprobe是专门为建兴DVD光驱所设计的，在测试结果中有一定的局限性，大家无需特别注重这个参数。原则上，PI值不大于300，都不会影响到正常使用。我们这里引入这个测试，主要是给大家体现一下各品牌之间的横向比较，有助于大家的选购。

　　从测试数据上可以看出，几款知名品牌：SONY、TDK、Maxell、Mitsubishi的DVD刻录盘产品无论是DVD+R还是DVD-R都表现出优秀的品质，让我们十分满意。

　　相比之下，劲宝和FujiXerox的盘片质量差强人意，但这两款产品在价格上表现出相当的优势，在盒装价格普遍为20元以上时，劲宝只需要8元，而FujiXerox也仅仅需要15元。笔者认为：用这两种品牌的产品刻录一些临时数据是个不错的选择。

　　在其他四款产品中，大多数刻录盘片都在末端出现数据错误率大增的现象，值得大家的注意。其中表现最抢眼的是Maxell的DVD+R盘片，从内圈到外围，它的PO数值都稳定保持在0-3之间，价格也只需25元，十分值得大家选购。

　　综合推荐产品：Maxell DVD+R 、Mitsubishi DVD+R、SONY DVD+R。

其实不同光盘品牌可能都是一家生产的，用盘片测试软件看一下，像铼德等大厂的品质应该也不会差，2元左右。
