We could say "in the north-west of campus sets the cafeteria" ,but could we replace "sets" by some word else or could we say "beside the classroom's door stands the teacher" ?

in the north-west of campus sets the cafeteria

is not correct English

You could say:
In the north-west of the campus sits the cafeteria

But it is still akward because the sentence is in "passive tense" Passive voice is generally undesirable in English because it sounds like CAMPUS is doing the action rather than the CAFETERIA. Understand? To make it into active voice switch it around like this:

The cafeteria sits in the north-west of the campus.

instead of THE
you could use
of our campus
of their campus

so on...

"beside the classroom's door stands the teacher"

again is passive tense...technically the sentence is correct, but it is not good English, because it is passive voice.

The teacher stands beside the clasroom's door

sounds much better! This is active voice!
