1.Self-respect is not an easy term to define or talk about.It is not from others, but from oneself.Although we can’t exactly catch the meaning, we still have to accept the importance of self-respect.Since self-respect is so important, it is never readily attained. We would have shared a painful experience by which we inevitably reshaped ourselves.In my opinion, self-respect arises from self-confidence, which is rightly measured on one’s value.That is, self-respect is an equivalence of personal ability.

3.I prefer to live in a big city rathan in a small city.First, I think that living in the big city is helpful for the development of individual.Second,I think I can live more convenient in the big city.If I live in the small city, there may be something I could not buy.The traffic is more convenient and there are various traffic tools and I can spend the least time on them.The last reason is that, I like having fun.In the big city,there are the best facilities.So I prefer to live in the big city.

4.If I'm an inventor ,I want to invent a machine that can collect body heat.Every human being,no matter what he is doing,gives off body heat.The collection system which uses not only body heat,but the heat given off by such objects as light bulbs and refrigerators as well.The system works so well that no fuel is needed to make the campus's some buildings comfortable.It can save more energy.

The first thing to realize in studying the Chinese language is that it is primarily something that is spoken, not written.Secondly we must realize that in language change is constantly going on.

6.Yes,I think so.There is an old saying “all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy”. Being a stressful student,we do need some recreations to get re-energized. If we are confined to the same routine of studying and answering questions,our mind are smothered and our imagination,killed. Surfing the internet ,watching TV,listening to music or keeping pet are the pastimes that I like.

But why, for so many of us, is change so difficult to deal with.has helped them deal with change and make improvements in their lives. Although the book only takes about an hour to read, the lessons drawn from it can last a lifetime.

8.High school teachers seems to be more strict than the college teachers. In high school, when a student didn't do what the teacher requires, surely, the student would receive severe punishments. While, as a college teachers seems to be more reluctant to care their students.They are reluctant due to the growing age of the students. In high school, teachers must look after their students, to make sure they are on track what their students doing. WHile in college, teachers cannot look after them. 15.Smoke is bad for (to) your health.Everywhere you can see students smoking.Not only boys ,but also many girls.Some guys dare to smoke in the classroom!I think give up smoking is very hard,people aways can't help smoking.Cannot understand that they only play and do not study.The areas or subjects thay are interesed in,they read & learn a lot at free time.That's all.

I would perfer big city, since in the city, there are so many people.It it very convenient living in the big city.You can buy nearly anything/everything.There's also many jobs here, people can find job very easilly. City people seems to be more neat and clean, they are mainly highly educated people.For children, city is a great place for them to visit, there are lots parks, amusement park and play grounds for kids to entertain.

The most important thing in my life is money, simply none of us could survive without it. We need it to do everything. "Money" is something that's important to every single person in the World. We need money to buy foods in order to survive, we need money to build our homes, we need money to buy things that we need. All in all, the most important thing in my life is "Money"-it is something that all human expects

the most important thing in my life?
in my opinion ,the most important in my life is health ,someone think money is very important ,i don't think so ,if you have money but you can't buy health. we have good health can got more money ,so ,all of you have good health , can have money , all of you have enough money ,you can buy anything what you want .
