We have done some confirmation work on both INT and EXT versions and have prototyped both versions here, however final design work will have to wait until the plastic base is done and samples examined.

I think the only major remaining item is the modification of the cover for the strobe and the strobe circuit itself. Sourcing components for the strobe must be finalized, however John has stated we have two vendors that now make strobe circuits and can be of assistance to Tom on this issue.

Yes, start on some INT samples. The printed circuit board is the same for the EXT and INT antenna versions, HOWEVER, the stuffing of the boards is slightly different (2 or 3 components different, as are the connections). The EXT antenna is the same as for the current IS Long Range Receiver. For the INT antenna version the antenna is the battery pack and the battery pack wiring. Once you have plastic bases to work with we can finalize the INT antenna wiring lengths.

I have sent you SCH for both versions as well as BOM's. Mike had previously sent pictures to LMS to show how we wired our lab samples for INT and EXT versions.

We have done outdoor tests (several months ago) on the EXT antenna receiver version and obtained about 500-600 feet with the prototype xmtr (4120T). We also tested the INT antenna receiver version with the newer version of the 4120T and obtained 300-350 feet in range. I am hoping the small change I made on the 4120T antenna does not affect RF output levels ...... this was done to accommodate the case design.

We have received prototype 4120T cases from Bob Gudin and are waiting for receipt of the 4120T boards from LMS/MFR so we can make case/board alterations if needed. Bob included your plastic battery stop design as done on the 3303T. Would you like a 4120T proto case sample at this point ??
