THE OLD MAN AND HIS GRANDSON
Once there was a very old, old man who lived with his son. Because the man was so old, he was nearly blind and deaf, and his knees trembled when he tried to walk.
When he sat at the table to eat, he could not take up his food without spilling it. So he often dropped some of it on the table and sometimes on his clothes.
His son and daughter-in-law did not like this. They said that the old man should not come to the table. So they made him sit in a corner behind the oven. There they gave him his food in an old bowl, and often did not give him enough.
The old man was very sad, but he said nothing.
One day his hands shook so much that he could not hold the bowl. It fell to the ground and broke to pieces.
His son's wife scolded him, but he did not answer. He only sighed.
Then they bought a cheap wooden bowl, and gave him his food in that.
One day, as he sat behind the oven, his little grandson was sitting on the ground by him. The little boy had some pieces of wood which he was trying to fit together.
“What are you making?”asked the old man.
“I am making a wooden trough.”said the child.
“What are you making a trough for?”asked the old man.
“It is for father and mother to feed out of when I grow big.”answered the boy.
When the son heard these words, he looked at his wife. They soon began to cry. Then they begged the old man to forgive them.
After that they let the old man sit at the table with them, and even if some of the food was spilt on the table, or on his clothes, they did not say anything.

My Weekend

It was fine weather today. I had lie-in until :00. When I opened the window, the sun was blazing. So, I pulled down the blinds and kept out the sun. At the same time, I found myself felt constrained. I thought, maybe I should go out and enjoy myself for one day. So I can continue the study coming in the next week. I make a plan with my cousin. And then, we drew a conclusion, went to the Bondi-Beach.
Bondi beach is situated in the Eastern Suburbs, several kilometres from the centre of the city. Large numbers of tourists visit Bondi Beach throughout the year and many British tourists spend Christmas Day there. It said that Bondi Beach is one of Australia's most famous beaches and among the world's most well-known beaches. The beach is roughly a kilometre long and is patrolled by lifesavers that make swimmers stay between the yellow and red flags.
When we were preparing for some fruit and drink, uncle told us that he would go with us. And also, took his two children.
After all things had been prepared, we set off in uncle’s car. When I was in the car, I opened my window; the wind came through my face, my ears, and my hair. Let me felt so soft.
I could see the scenery was picturesque through the car-window. I never saw so beautiful scenery, when I was in China. I almost loved every thing here. I loved the trees without leaves, they looked artistic. I loved the birds around the grassland; they looked so free and gleeful. I loved thee streets, they were always clean. I loved the people, they were all friendly. Above of all, I like this place.
It was a long journey from our home to the Bondi-Beach; I fell asleep in the halfway. When we got the beach, I was in fine fig. Everything went according to plan. When saw the beach, we couldn’t help ourselves running towards the blue sea.
The sky was blue, the beach was yellow, and the sea was blue. So, we can’t really draw distinctions between the sky and the sea. Many people on the beach basked themselves in the sun, some people were surfing, some people were running around the beach, and also some people were swimming in the sea.
Uncle took a photo for us, we piled up a big castle and broke it down. I had never felt so happy. I thought I really laughed at the moment. Let me understood how beautiful the life was.
We enjoyed ourselves for the whole morning, then we had our lunch in the McDonald, I felt the food was extremely good.
The halcyon days always pass so fast, we should go home after lunch.

a ten dollar bill

Sam waited patiently in the long line at the grocery store .He had come to pick up a few items for his mother.He often did chores for his parents after school.He enjioyed helping out at home.As he waited ,he daydreamed about the new camera he wanted to buy .He wanted to buy it soon because his family was going on a vacation,and he wanted to take pictures of their trip.there was only one problem .He needed seven more dollars buy the camera.His lawn mowing job at the Smith's should provide the money shortly .
Suddenly ,Sam was rougly shoved aside .He recogniced Mrs Sanders ,an unkind and unfriendly person who lived on his block .She had shoved in front of him without even smiling.Just as Mrs.Sanders received her changeand her prechanses,a ten-dollar bill flew out of her hand and fell at Sam's feet .Mrs.Sanders,however,was too busy criticixing hte cashier for his slowness to notice.
AS Sam bent ot pick up the money he thought quickly.The money did belong to Mrs.Sanders,but she deserved to lose it after the way she had behaved,and ,with it ,hicould buy the camera.，
