沃尔特•迪斯尼(Walt Disney)1928年3月诞生了一个世人皆知的形象--米老鼠。它开创了沃尔特•迪斯尼的今天。目前，沃尔特•迪斯尼以每年一部大制作的速度推出动画电影，并多次问鼎奥斯卡。 在卡通世界与迪斯尼竞争、失败者比比皆是。 从90年代开始，迪斯尼的动画形象已不是单纯的米老鼠和唐老鸭等老面孔，而是树立了许多崭新的动画形象，各大竞争者只能望而兴叹。 1992年借助《天方夜潭》的名篇《阿拉丁》，迪斯尼开始重新崛起，并扩大自己的知名度。随后1994年的《美女与野兽》、《风中奇缘》等均受到人们欢迎。而《狮子王》一片更是确立了迪斯尼在动画领域的霸主地位。 当然，迪斯尼没有停止前进的步伐，1995年的《101斑点狗》，到1998年的《虫虫危机》以及《花木兰》，迪斯尼的视野不断拓宽，使得人们一提起美国动画片就与迪尼斯联系起来。也许，迪斯尼天生就是美国动画的代名词。
-----迪斯尼每年都要推出一部自己的重头戏，通常也叫动画长片。近几年随着我国引进迪斯尼动画片数量的增加，米老鼠、唐老鸭、斑点狗这些可爱的形象已深受小朋友们的喜爱，而《美女与野兽》、《阿拉丁》、《狮于工》这样的大型动画故事，不仅小朋友喜欢，连爸爸妈妈们都看得津津有味。下面就将我们收集到的迪斯尼到99年为止推出的39部动画长片，以及即将在2000年上映的3部动画片列举如下。
