背景介绍：《六人行》中，钱德勒和莫妮卡原本只是好朋友，在伦敦的一次“一夜情”后转为情侣，最终结成夫妻。两人经常互诉衷肠，我们能从中学到不少甜蜜的情话。下面是两人在婚礼上的对话：

　　Monica：For so long,I wondered if I would ever find my prince.My soulmate.Then three years ago,at another wedding,I turned to a friend for comfort.And instead,I found every-thing that I’d been looking for my whole life.And now,here we are,with our future before us.And I only want to spend it with you.My prince.My soul mate.My friend.

　　Chandler:I thought this would be the most difficult thing I ever had to do.But when I saw you walking down that aisle,I realized it’s simple.I love you.Any surprises that come our way,it’s okay,because I will always love you.You are the person I was meant to spend the rest of my life with.

　　莫妮卡：在那么长的一段日子里，我都怀疑能否找到我的王子，我的知音。3年前，在另外一个婚礼上，我向一位朋友寻求安慰。没想到，我找到了我一生都在寻求的所有。现在，在这里，面对我们的未来。我只想和你共度这未来。我的王子，我的知音，我的朋友。

　　钱德勒：我曾想这（指结婚）是我不得不做的最难的一件事。但当我看到你沿着地毯走来时，我发现这并不难。我爱你。我们前路上发生任何意外都无所谓，因为我将永远爱你。你就是我想共度余生的那个人。

　　比起一本正经的表白，两人日常的情话更有意思：

　　Monica：What if I have babies,okay?I’m gonna look different.I’m okay with that,but I’m not sure you are.

　　Chandler:You have to realize I don’t think of you as a thin,beautiful wom-an...this is one of the things that I can apol-ogize for later.What I mean is,you’re monica.okay?And I am in love with monica.

　　Monica：Keep going.

　　Chandler:So you can balloon up or you can shrink down...and I will still love you.

　　Monica:Even if I were to shrink down to 2 inches tall?

　　Monica：I’d carry you around in my pocket.

　　Chandler:I love you.

　　莫妮卡：如果我生小孩呢？我会看起来不一样。我对此可以接受，但我不能确定你是否也能。

　　钱德勒：你一定要知道，我没把你看作一个苗条、漂亮的女人……这一点我以后可以向你道歉。我的意思是，你是莫妮卡。明白吗？我爱的是莫妮卡。

　　钱德勒：所以你可以像气球一样鼓起来或者瘪下去……我还会爱你。

　　钱德勒：我会把你放在口袋里到处走。
