未来的宗教将是一种宇宙宗教。它将是一种超越人格化神，远离一切教条和神学的宗教。这种宗教，包容自然和精神两个方面，作为一个有意义的统一体，必定是建立在由对事物的——无论是精神，还是自然的——实践与体验而产生的宗教观念之上的。佛教符合这种特征。——爱因斯坦

如果有一个能够应付现代科学需要，又能与科学共依共存的宗教，那必定是佛。
完美的宗教应该是宇宙性的，它超越了一个神话的人，放弃了死板的信条教义，及主从观念，基于物质和精神的经验而浑为一体，那只有佛教才能完全符合这些条件——爱因斯坦

大科学家这样评价佛教，我觉得这是一种精神信仰，人是一种有精神信仰的动物，佛教说的太大，太玄，让人摸不着头脑，也许这就是它的高明之处．
