I had a fever the other day, and went to(不能用the) hospital and got two bags of IV(即Intravenous）.
好像在国外医院见到的一般都是塑料袋子的输液瓶，没有玻璃的，所以用bags。另外如果你的“前两天”实际意思是指“几天前”建议用the other day，或者a few days ago.
