它们的不同点在哪？

can表示能力上是否可以
able表示与能力无观,一些不能完成可能是由于其他客观原因造成的
can多指客观情况能不能达到
able是指通过主观的努力能达到的事
虽然都是能的意思，但是用法上有点区别。can 用于过去时和现在时，而be able to可以用于所有时态
首先用法上有差别, be able to 可以用语各种时态当中，并且强调有能力并且能成功．
例：Ican go through the river!(不一定成功）
I am able to go through the river!（能成功）
都是“能”的意思
前者不能用于过去
for example,you want to say 我能做到 in english,you can say i can do it or i am able to do it.Before "able",you must put "am" in front in this case
