another 表示泛指，又一，再一，另一，强调的是单数，跟单数名词连用。例如：can you give me another one?
the other 表示特指，有限定的范围
与单数名词连用，指两者中的另一个，例如：Hold the bottle and pull the cork out with the other hand (握住瓶子，另一只手把瓶塞)；
与复数名词连用，指其余的，剩下的（人或者事），例如：The other students in my class are from Italy ( 我们班其余的同学都是意大利人)
others表示泛指，相当于other +复数名词,指其他的人或物。
其他的，另外的人或者事，，它一般跟some 连用
例如：Some came by car, others came on foot

打比方，有A、B、C、D四人，A是学生，如果B、C、D中某人是老板，那我们就说A is a student,another is a Boss.
one other，例：Do you want more apples? One other,please.（再来一个，如果是tow、three等就是再来二（三）个）
至于others，如A是学生，另外B、C、D当中，可能B、C是老板，可能B、D是老板，或者C、D是老板，就说A is a student,others are Bosses.也就是有中间部分（既不是学生，又不是老板）
other是形容词，意为其他的，用来修饰名词或代词等
