Abstract: How to recycle such waste electronic material as waste circuit boards in an effective way has been closely linked to the persistent growth of China’s economy, society and environment. Besides, it presents a new challenge for us to deal with in the field of restoring recyclable objects. Instead of adopting traditional practices, namely, putting waste circuit boards in the burial site or burning them in the incinerator, we convert them into energy sources. This way the cost of disposal can be reduced, the land resource be utilized, the potential environmental pollution be avoided, and, most importantly, a certain amount of economic benefit can be achieved.
From the standpoint of recycling, the author describes the current ways to recycle waste circuit boards, both domestically and abroad, and investigates the problems facing mankind in the process.
