The reason why i like English is mainly because it is a globally used language. Although that reason might seem very trival, it actually contains several benefits. Firstly, on my personal benefits, using English allows me to know more people and have access to interesting English classics, such as the recent Da Vinci Code. I need nott refer to the translated version, which might have lost some of the meaning in certain phrases. Secondly, as it is a widely used language, it would help me in my work as i now have more option than others who did not have English skills. Thirdly, on my country's benefit. Now, with my English skills, i would be able to introduce my beloved country to English speaking foreigners proper. English would also attract foreign investors which would then help improve my country's economic growth.
